VPN disconnects automatically after 1 hour, 54 minutes

Hi, I have a Netgear Wireless Router (MR814v2). What I see consistently happen is that my VPN connection drops after 1 hour and 54 minutes. The internet continues to stay up. This happens only on the PC which is connected to the router via a wireless USB adapter. The PC connected by a cable to the router does not show this problem.

I have exhausted all avenues and am hoping one of you would be able to help me here. The VPN Client I am using is Contivity VPN ver 4.65. I use a Cable modem and it uses DHCP. Thanks in advance !

Sorry no help but some consolation. I am having intermittant problems with the Nortel Contivity Client as well. I have tried Netgear, Belkin and Homeportal Routers all with the same problem - intermittant drops.

If you do find a fix, please post it here. You would think a company like Nortel could create a reliable product.
