I am VPNing into an office with an NT 4.0 Server configured as the VPN Server. I can connect and authenticate just fine. I can not ping any address on the remote network. The only address I can ping (IPCONFIG /ALL) is the address I have assigned to my NIC, and address that the VPN Server assigns me (if I right click on the VPN Connection, select Status and then select the Details tab, I can't even ping the Address found in the Server IP Address section). Can somebody help me figure out where to even begin troubleshooting this? I have looked through all MS Articles, and they don't seem to help me deal with whatever this problem is.

I am connecting to the VPN Network from behind a Netgear DSL/Wireless Router, and am using Windows 2000 Pro.
Thank you for any help that can be provided!

I checked that as I have seen firewalls do things like this before. I don't have any firewall software installed on my box. I can think of no other reason why I would not be able to VPN in and browse this site. I even changed my workgroup name to match the name of the domain, and that didn't do anything.

The problem had to do with my private LAN using the same IP and Subnet as the client I was trying to dial into. I changed my Scheme since I only have 5 or so computers, and everything works great. Thanks for the help!
