Hello ,
My question is about dameware and VPN , I need to set-up VPN connection form site A to B to use dameware.Connecting into workstation located at Site B. WS at site is is behind Sonic wall as well.
I thought I could do Ste-To-Site VPN, but not sure what else I need if at all .

I hope you can help

First, assuming your Sonicwall is licensed for VPN access, you have a couple of choices. A site to site VPN would work and not require you to install or otherwise do anything to the pc at site A. Typically a site to site VPN is used when you are doing frequent access, as opposed to an occasional need. A site to site VPN will open the network at site B to access from all at site A unless you also create rules to control this. As another choice, you could install the Sonicwall VPN client software on the pc at site A. Then simply start the VPN client software on the that pc and then use Dameware to make your conneciton. Finally, if this is an occasional need from just one PC at site A, or you are not licensed for VPN on Sonicwall, you could create firewall rules on the Sonicwall at B to permit the connect without using the VPN at all. If you look on the Dameware support site it has the port requirements you need to permit, to make this work.
