hi, we use a voipbuster account with a analogue sip dialer, but now want to use via 4.0.7, have set up the user name etc and fields in new sip line, made a shortcode number dial ammended number with country prefix, sip line group,

any ideas for making it work?

Where does the call stop. When sending it out your short code should look like N"@x.x.x.x" that in the number field.

we just made short code, 09N dial 00649N line group 7 which is sip line

I think you will need to put the IP address at the end of the short code in order to tell the system where to send it. Try adding it in the format i have above and see what happens.

Have a look at the following link for example SIP configurations.

May or may not help with your carrier in particular but it shows different ways of doing SIP and the little idiosyncrasies that go with it.
