Voip Compression Setting

Which is the best compression to use for high call quality? Among two sites connected via SCN. Also data pass through the T1 Internet connection too.

Using an internet T1 (regular Data T1 not MPLS) then I would use g729a for compressed voice becasue you will have call quality issues. If you have a private circuit or MPLS then g711 ULAW is uncompressed voice and full quality
