hey guys,

just wondering if there is a way to show the caller id info in the subject line of the email when i get voicemail to email notification?

or better yet....can this be done?

thanks!

I think that this is the default with VMPro, but not with embedded.

on the caller id.....does it give you name and number or just the number?

thanks for all the help!

thank you sir!!!

sorry, just trying to cut down on all the voicemail i dont need to listen too. this would be a great way to save some time.

thanks again!

it just gives the cli. i left a voicemail from my mobile, which is in the system directory and it still came up as

Voicemail MEssage (cli > user) from: cli

so i would only see the number without the name?

thanks again!

seems that way. like i said the cli i rang in on is in our system directory, but didnt find its way to the email. you can edit the email contents in the registry, you may be able to fiddle with that to get the results you want.

i'll try and find the thread on it.

Here you go;

Goto; HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Avaya\Media Services\Directories

Change; EMailMailbox=yourenteredemailadress@yourdomain.com
