so i have been asked by my boss to make sure all the staff have their own voicemail greetings set and turned on, we have aria 130 system but i cant find

1. the voicemail number to dial to check messages

2. how to record their own greetings im presuming once i have called the VMIB that it will allow me to record the greeting in there ??

thanks
kev

It is important that greeting is recorded first.
Without the greeting recorded you will be unable to forward to vmail.

? Record Message: Press Trans/Prog button
Dial 61.
Follow Prompts, press HOLD/SAVE key

? Call Forward to Voicemail:
Dial 554
Choose one of the following options
1 - All Calls
3 - No Answer
4 - Busy/No Answer
Then Dial # to send to Voicemail
Ie to Forward to V/mail on Busy No Answer Dial 5544#

? To Cancel Call Forward
Programming a new Call Forward will override the existing one.
To Cancel Call Forward completely, press Dnd/Fwd key or dial
554#

? To Retreive Message
Retrieving Message: Press Callback key or 557
Save Message: Hold/Save key or [#2]
Delete Message: Conf key or [#1]
Repeat Message: Callback key or [#3]

i just realised i never thanked you for this post puffinbilly sorry about that :(

just have another VM related question we have a group that rings on our main number but at night for some reason it wont divert to voicemail the group is 621 and it has 4 extension attached to it what am i doing wrong as i have looked in the system and cant seem to find the answer i thought it might have been in the flexible DID table PGM 231 but im not 100%sure

thanks

You can in PGM 231 set an extension to answer the calls at night. The extension has to be diverted to voice mail.
In the morning the agents can listen to the messages in the normal way.

i tried it out doktor but it still wont work for some reason :( ill explain how it is setup then you can direct me in the correct way

we have a 1300 free phone number that rings our main ISDN line which is then forwarded to the group 621 which has 3 members 304 , 307 , 308 i set 621 to point to 308 vmib at night but it would appear that it just rings out am i missing something here ?

I can read a database file for the Aria 130 (= ipLDK-100 here in Europe). Maybe your main number is an analoge line answered by PGM144?
What are the 3 last digits of the main number?
Try to search for these 3 digits in PGM231.

I checked at a customer:
Day: PGM231 set to answer a group with members and greeting.
Night: PGM231 set to answer at an extension forwarded permanently to voice mail giving night answer and the possibility to leave a message.

Or you can run CCR (PGM228 - Menues) to give callers choices to dial one for Sales etc.

I got your message!

1.
Concerning the PRI and the many "unknown" resets /restarts.
This could deal with with lack of grounding of the electrical power supplly, and also sync loss.
Check your cableing and grounding.
2.
I went through the database of the ipLDK-100 (Aria 130).
It seema that your "old" main number goes through the analog lines on the CLCOB board. Check PGM144 - line 1.
To this you could add a voice message - giving a welcome message to your company.
In day mode this analog line is answered at 5 phones, and at night at one phone.
Messages can be added in PGM144.
You can say that the PGM231 is for ISDN (PRI) lines and the PGM144 is for analogue lines (PSTN) going to the CLCOB board.
Let me know what you wnat to change.
