I am having some trouble getting my Voicemail Pro Modules working. I am using an IP500 4.1(12) with VMPro 4.1(40).

I have a module created in VMPro, and a shortcode created in Manager. Whenever I use the shortcode, instead of being taken to the module, I am taken to the default location for retrieving your messages. Interestingly, this is the same location I am taken if I change the shortcode to point to a module that does not exist.

The Voicemail boxes on this system work fine, but I cannot get the modules to work for anything. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Report it to avaya if you can
It should not realy matter and avaya should be able to fix it if they know about it

I am now using a non-SP1 Vista server, and am having the same issue.

You guys have gotten Modules to work on a Vista Server?

It is supported already only not on the basic versions
Do you have a basic version by the way ?

If it works properly from your laptop then copy the VM accounts folder onto a flash drive and then copy that over to your Vista machine.

I had the same problem recently. My demo unit worked with my old laptop but not with my new one. After copying that folder it immediately started working on my new Vista pc.

That is actually what I have been doing, and it works fine. The problem is that that same procedure has to be done for any change, which is more than annoying.

But it is not a real solution !
There should be a FWbat file for vista where it solves these kind of things
That is why it is so important to report to avaya !

My official response from Avaya is that it is not compatible with Vista yet and to use Windows XP, which you can no longer buy. Go Avaya.

Unless you are using IMS or web campaigns Vista is supported. However SP1 isn't

Take Care

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

Thanks for the link Matt, I just e-mail my Avaya guy and pointed that out to him.

shortcode should be

*888 (example)
Voicemail collect
"#ModuleName"

Works everytime...
