Right. I have a customer with a 403 version 3.2 (67)with VMPro whose license dongle has died. We will upgrade them to to an IP500 at the end of January but have not yet ordered the gear.

I decided the easiest way out of the situation was voicemail lite. But for some reason it does not want to connect, neither does call status. Monitor and Manager do work fine.

Currently the only 3.2 software I have is 3.2 (69) which i expect was close enough to work. But doesn't.
I have tried to upgrade to 3.2(69) and this constantly fails.

It has been about 7 or 8 years since I have done trouble shooting on voicemail lite so I thought I would try the brains trust here before buying an answer machine for the company over Xmas.

I find it is too close to xmas, with motivation lacking and the prospect of much free beer, this is the last chance for my last voicemail lite experience.

Any simple ideas or do I go with the answer machine?
 
Set the service to interact with the desktop and you'll get a debug screen, if I remember correctly. That might help? I haven't used lite since...probably 3.2 when I took my ACE...that was ages ago.

voicemail lite is not supported anymore so if you upgrade the system you will loose it anyway.
Use the embedded voicemail of the IP500v2.
