Good morning. New around here and hoping I can get some help getting our voicemail back up and running.

All users get a fast busy signal when trying to retrieve their voicemail. I can't get the link to start. When I do a status>link>1 it shows the link status as restarting. If I busyout the link it changes from restarting to out of service. When I release the link it goes back to restarting.

I have rebooted the audix system. I have stopped and restarted the audix system.

I have done a busyout on the pbx side, then busyout on the audix side, release on audix, and release on pbx. I have changed the status of the link on enable to "n" and back to "y".

I have checked that all of the extensions in the hunt group for audix to make sure they ring.

As far as I know the voicemail system was working Monday morning. I believe the only change that was made was switching the name and password for a subscriber. It is possible that our tech also reset our bios defaults.

I am at my wits end. I tried to get support from Avaya and they pointed me to find a local company. I have called all of the local companies listed in their partners directory and they no longer exist or do not support audix. If anybody can point me toward a company that offers support or give me other advice I would be extremely grateful.

are you able to log into Audix? and if so do you have any alarms? on the voicemail, also what type of switch integration do you have?

Indeed as Joe states we need more info , what is your CM Version / Audix version and type of integration.

APSS (SME)
ACSS (SME)
ACIS (UC)

My apologies.

I am able to log on to Audix.

I have a Event 4 Count 30 Major Alarm - Voltage(s) outside range. My predecessor states this has always been there.

I believe my integration is a DCIU link. Can you tell me how to make sure?

1st of all you need to address the over voltage ASAP!!!! it was always there crap doesn't cut it.DCUI link is x.25 integration which will have a box attached with cables on the back of the Audix, make sure this cable is properly secured

If this is connected properly then look at the back side of the Pbx of the processor interface card tn 765 most likely, from there is a special cable 3 way I believe, make sure the 25 pair cable is properly secured as well

Thanks smokinjoe2938.

I checked the cable at both ends and it properly secured.

reboot the audix and at the same time busy link 1 then release link 1, also maybe have a bad pi board may need to replace, are you able to call the voicemail ports as well?

Will do.

I am able to call the voicemail ports if you mean the extensions that are listed in the hunt group for audix.

Thanks again for your suggestions.

Tried the reboot/busyout/release. Still not up.

On the processor interface card what light is lit? maybe a busy and release of the processor interface card. I hope there is not a solid red light on the pi card

On the audix side I ran a diagnose switch link on the board and got
Ectest: Warning #FA304
The application software running in Eiconcard #1 was stopped.

Donyou know how I get it started?

If that is the Tn765 card no lights are lit at all.

when you did a reboot of the audix it should have automatically restarted the digital voice cards so I would power down the audix, pull the ac power repower up the audix and wait 5 minutes and retest, also you also have a data module associated with this extension 7050, try and busy data 7050 release data 7050. also what does the pi board lites say?

Can you tell me how to test the tn765?

test packet-interface I believe, forgive me as it has been a very long time since I have had to test one of these
