Voicemail delay

I am still new to the nortel phone systems, but a customer is complaining that their nortel meridian MISC system they use for their phone system is delaying some of their voicemails. In general everything is fine, but about once a week an employee will receive an email from the day before or even two or three days before. The time on the voicemail has the correct time but just seems like it is not getting the phones for several hours. Any ideas? Thanks.
 
You need to post this in the Norstar forum. Could you also add what voice mail (NAM, Flash, Call Pilot) and what level of software are they running. See you there.
 
System does NOT purge unread mail. The idle boxes are eating up HDD space, and will eventually cause the lights on active boxes to not light correctly (delayed delivery – hours or days). I would check to see how many mailboxes are over the limit.
