I am working on a MICS 4.1 with a Norstar Flash 2. I have just setup a PRI into the system. How do I get the AA to answer the DID's.

In voicemail, set your target line numbers to be answered by Auto Attendant and assign a Table number.

I did and I am getting the general mailbox every time I call the DID.

This may be a dumb question, but if you have DID's why do you want the AA to answer them, instaed of going to the phone with the DID number. Seems to defeat the purpose of having DID's.

I agree, but they do not have anyone to answer the calls right now. They want the callers to reveive three rings and go to the auto attendant. Their copper trunk lines work just not the ones on the PRI.

How many rings does a normal call ring at someone's extension before it goes to voicemail? It should be MORE than 3 (if you want the call to ring at a phone 3 times, then go to the AA).

Try creating a new target line -- one that isn't associated with any phone.

Associate the line with a phone (try Ring Only & if that doesn't work, Appr&Ring).

Having the FNA or Fwd Busy ring count set to the same number of rings as the AA answering the line could cause issues.

Make the AA answer the target line after 1 ring (just for testing), and then up-it to 3.
