Voicemail 2.2 on Win 2003

I have an old Network Alchemy Office system. VM 2.2 was running on NT4 Server but this has now been replaced with Win 2003 SBS.

Voicemail does not seem to function correctly, often the program just ends, and even when it is running VM emails are not being sent.

I'm assuming there are compatibility issues but can anyone please offer further help or guidance?

It wont work, time to upgrade to IP Office.

I have a customer that moved it to a win2003 standard server and got it to work.

Think he ran it in 95 compability mode.

We now have voicemail working but it will not send VM e-mails. We use Office 2000 but there is an issue installing Outlook on Exchange 2003. Is there a mail client that anyone can recommend that will run on Exchange 2003 and work with Voicemail.

I think you are asking a bit much of Alchemy VM.

if you cant upgrade to IPO reinstall win NT or 2k on an old PC dedicated to VM
you can get away with a P166 so finding a suitable system should not be dificult.

We used to use Outlook Express on the VM Pro server together with ant SMTP enabled mail server.
The software will run on Windows95/98/NT4. It also can be installed as a service on NT4 however it does not currently support EMail when installed as a service.
