I have updated my med pro and clan cards but voice quality is poor when I call other stations that are not ip on this system. Calls out on the pstn are worse than tdm calls within the system.
On the network... you need to have QOS (Quality of Service) configured to all IP voice end points. You will need to work with the router techs if you don't work on them yourself. Even a completely separate voice network will have issues with out QOS. Many people throw bandwidth at it, this does not solve the issue. Voice IP packets must be prioritized to be first.
If you already have QOS, use a VOIP monitor to indicate where the issue is located...
