Hi everyone,

Since I relocated voice mail pro server, branch office has inconsistent access to voice mail server.

If I change the voice mail setting on remote IPO from Centralized voice mail to voicemail lite/pro with static ip of voice mail server, then it will work for a while. But it wont stand for a long time.

When it fails, I need to change it from voicemail lite/pro to centralized again, then it works again.

I keep doing this back and forth to make it work.
Could you please give me some clue how I can troubleshoot or even fix it ?

Thanks
Andy

Give the VMPro server a static IP address and put that address in the IPO under the pulldown menu default it's set to 255.2552.255.255

sorry, I do not understand where I should put 255.255.255.255
Which pulldown menu ?

Could you please elaborate a little bit more ?

Thank you

This should be set as centralized so that should be greyed out. The voicemail destination tab should have a line number entered in that blank (the IP line to the main site). Go under lines and find that line number. Make sure the IP address settings are correct if you have made any changes (when changing servers) this could be effected. You may also need to make changes to your IP Route to the main site if changes were made.

Yes, it is being setup this way under lines.
And the Gateway IP address under lines on branch IPO is pointing to the IPO in headquarter.

It is working intermittently.
For example,

Centralized voiemail fails, then I change it to voicemail pro/lite with ip, then it will work

After a little bit, it will fail, then I change back to centralized voice mail. It works again.

I believe my configuration is correct otherwise it should work at all.

Is my assumption right ?
