Voice Mail General Delivery Mailbox 2

i have a flash set up with a greeting to answer after 3 rings. it plays a message thank you for calling and if you know your parties 3 digit extension or press zero greeting. however after hours i want it to play the greeting and if you press zero and no one answers i want it to go to the general delivery mailbox. there is no tree. now it just rings. suggestions? thanx!

Assign your reception phone to mailbox 100. Set recept ext in table and f982.

Look under F982 and see who is assigned as the operator. Change if needed. Also check mailbox 100 to see if it is assigned to the operator extension. Thirdly, login to F983 then press 6 to see if the GD mailbox is enabled.

okay...i followed all the above steps. however when the aa answer it plays the correct greeting. then the aa recording states "using the dial pad enter the extension number, to use directory press #, to leave a message press *, or press o for the operator.

but when you press * to leave a message it sez enter the mail box or press # to use the directory. how do i get it to go to the general delivery mailbox when you press '*'?

along with feat 982 for the attendent also check feat 983 under AA >> table >> atnd: is set to the correct attendent DN.

Your not. They have to press # to get the directory, and they have to press 0 to get the operator/GD. Under Ftr982 you can set 0 to ring a telephone (operator) or go directly to GD. * is going to make you enter a DN.

special thanx to exsmogger! those undisplayed toggles get me everytime. after pressing '6' i found the general mailbox was disabled. everything working great. thanx!
