Hello all

looking to see if for remote access say dial into the system AA answer you can get to a prompt for your extension but then doesnt let you into listen to your vmail....is this because a remote access code on IPmanager is not porgrammed...i believe there is a simpler solution IE each user programs there own code from there desk phone..

thoughts?

Why not just point an ICR to VoiceMail.
You can then add V1234567890 or another number to the users sourcecodes to authenticate your login in.
It will then ask for user id, then if you have a security code set will ask for this unless you do the sourcecode bit i mentioned above.

or ring your ddi and press 8 when you hear your recorded message

The VXXXXX wil only work when running IP Office mode not Intuity.

when users firect go into thier mailbox whe new it will ask them to setup a p/w (Intuity) so they should have one.

Point a DDI at V/M or send an unannounced dial from your AA to Get Mail.

Yes we have set the AA to point number 8 to VM but it doesn't allow any access only if there is a user code programmed to IPManager this doesn't seem right each user should just set there own access code from there station and have remote access....correct?
