Hi everyone

I posted this before and tried doing a Windows Installer clean up but still get the following, can anyone help.
Many thanks

I have recently put vmpro with contact store on a windows 2003 server (32 bit) and although they are running ok I can not access anything via the vmpro client. ie I try to go online and log in with the IP address of the vmpro server and i get a message saying user log in failed (although you dont need either because the client is running on the same machine as the vmpro). I also get a message when I open the vmpro client saying there was a problem opening the call flow database, although there are no call flows created and this is a new install.

Versions are VMPro 5.0.25 and Contact Store is the latest version for release 5.0 (7.28 if i remember correctly)

I cant uninstall VMpro as I get an InstallShield 1628 error.
And I cant do a reinstall as I get the same error.

Has anyone got a new wall I can hit my head against as my one is worn out.

Many thanks

Microsoft has a Installer cleanup tool you can use it to remove the VM Pro installation and the re-install VM Pro.
I would uninstall all applications or do a Windows system recovery from a earlier date were the applications had not been installed yet and the first install VM Pro, test the software and if all works fine then install MSDE & Contact Store.

I manually search the registry for references to "VM" and "voicemail" etc and delete them, tends to work when all else fails, just be careful as you will get some results not at all realted to Avaya stuff but you can tell by the key/location :)
