VM Pro change messages to MP3?

Is there any way to make VM Pro save messages as MP3 instead of WAV?

No, and I wish there was a way to use a more widely used audio format.

I'm sure WAV is the most widely supported audio format. It is uncompressed but I don't think that this is an issue with modern systems.

Is there a reason for MP3?

^yes, exactly this. I've had quite a few customers have to use third party apps to even play messages.
