Didn't have any real issues with it during trial. Worked just fine after GA and seems to be working fine in 8.1.
I can't say I care much for the pricing though you are paying $600 or just about for the computer component above what you would be paying for Preferred Edition alone. And you'll still need a Windows PC for management.
You can get a HP ProLiant for a couple hundred more and it would have more storage, faster processor and such and throw the Apps DVD on it. Then you have the ability to throw VMware on it and put Windows on a virtual machine for an all in one box.
I also can't stand the fact that it has a fan on the card. As we all know that thing is going to get covered in dust and grime after a year or so which means powering down the box, pulling out the card to blow it off. If Avaya had been smart about it they would have come up with a fan unit that attached to the side of the IP Office that would create an across the board airflow rather than a pinpoint cooling unit.
