If a system has VM address set to broadcast(255s) is there a way remotely you can find out the actual IP address of the vmail server? either by monitor or some other way
Yes you can.
Open monitor and go to status -> voicemail sessions
Or use the vmpro client and browse for voicemail systems.
When you have an ipaddress in the range of the ipoffice and voicemail server then you could also use Angry ip scanner and see everything on that network.
