VM help M8X-24-DS with Startalk Mini

My system was working fine until a prolonged power outage & I had to reprogram. (I must have forgotten one key sequence now)I'm using AA to pick up my primary line and want it to answer after 4 rings. I have set AA to answer line 01 after 4 rings. At 2 rings, it dumps into the GM's mailbox. If i set AA to pick up at 2 rings, everything is OK, If i set it for 3 rings, it dumps into the GMs mailbox. I have programmed line 01 to FWD No Answer & FWD Busy to Startalk after 4 rings. The GMs mailbox must be the general delivery MB. What's the trick? / thanks

calls will forward into the general delivery mailbox (10, 100, 1000 etc) if an extension is set to forward but either does not have a mailbox or has not initialaized their mailbox. you probably have one of the extensions set to forwardon No answer to Vm and it also has outside lines ringing on the phone. (lines 1 and 2 are set by default to appear and ring) you will want to check to see if any stations are set to forward on 2 rings to vm and also have the lines ring the phones.

also: check to see if mailbox 100 is assigned to whatever the extension is of the GM extension. if not then your problem is probably caused by the gm phone and you need to look at the forwarding on that staton.
