My network is running extremly slow between building. I have g bigs and fiber to the switches. I ran solarwind and check and all the vlans are running at 10mps.

I would appreciate any advice or help. All the ports and computers are running at 100 mbs and the links show 1gbp

thanks

Can you clarify what you have again. I'm a bit confused...
Is this what you have?
comp===100M===switch===trunk(1G)===switch===100Mcomputer

I'm assuming you have checked the interfaces for errors, how they negogiated, etc... What type of switches are these?

cisco 3548 xl .. all the ports seem to be running fine.

It's just our system is slow

graynor,

can you post a config (w/o passwords) of the two switches that link your trunk connection? Also, a show interface will reveal any CRC errors that you may be having due to possible media mismatches.

graynor, can you be more specific about what you mean "our system is slow"? That could mean a lot of different things to different people.
