Hi all,

I am trying to configure VLAN on my Baystack 350 to be routed by my Cisco 2621 router.

But i can't find the good parameters.

The default VLAN is VLAN 1 on the Baystack so i configured it as encapsulation dot1q 1 native on my Cisco router.

I only have one ethernet interface on my router to do the routing, so i did sub-interfaces, one in VLAN 2, one in VLAN 3.

And VLAN 2 and 3 seems to be well configured in my switch.

May anyone help me ?

Thanks in advance

Didier

is the interface on the Baystack that is connected to the 2621 a member of all the vlans? I believe the trunking feature on Baystacks is quite different than on Cisco, and you need to set the Baystack interface to be a member of all vlans. Degg

hi Degg,

I tried trunking and no trunking, it didn't work.

I don't know how to set the baystack interface in a vlan !

If you know how please tell me...

Thanks for your reply

Didier

The baystack should have a web interface, and it is pretty straightforward from what I recall. Not sure how to do it from a command line though. You should be able to download a manual for the baystack. Degg
