Hi,

I’m linking two tables to each other both have a date in them.
On this date I want to link them.
Because one contains my data and the other one contains the periods.
Now I’m connecting to SQL Server 2000 through an ODBC.
In both tables it’s a datetime field.
In my data table the field is filled with a date + time, in the period table only a date is filled.
When I now try to link them it doesn’t connect them together.
If I remove manually the time from the data field it does work.

Search for a linking option but could not find.
The version of crystal I’m using is 4.5.

Thanks in advance.

SQL Server doesn't have just a DATE type, only a DATETIME field, so it sounds likk the time portion was not completed in the one table.

I would address this by creating a View on the database and CAST the datetime to just the date portion.
