I don't really know what you are asking about because speed in programs is a relative thing. Programs will execute faster or slower depending on your system speed and what other apps are running. If you are trying to compare it to something like QBasic it is a LOT faster. The only application for what you are asking about would be to determine the time it takes for a timing loop to execute. If you are trying to time something in VB I would suggest using the VB timer control in one of your forms. [sig][/sig]
It's compilation and execution speed are usually pretty irrelevant -- if your machine can run modern browsers and email clients then it will probably run VB apps ok.
