I have purchased a copy of MS Visual Basic 6 Pro and installed it. When I start it up, everything works just fine. The problem is that when I try to view a form, or when I try to save a project, it closes without warning and does not give an error message; also after it closes I cannot find the process in the task manager. My operating system is Windows XP home edition, with a AMD Athlon 1ghz processor and 384 MB of RAM. My hard drive, drive C, is 30 gigabytes, and I have 5 gigabytes free. Drive C is the only drive used by windows. The other hard drive is under Linux. Any ideas would be very much appreciated.

sorry i can't help on this. nut i would think it's a compatibility issue with XP...

try reinstalling it if it would work..

DrJavaJoe, thank you, that solved my problem. A star for you.
