I have a desktop that is used by the entire family. Each person has their own logon but mine is the only one with Administrative Rights.

At the moment mine is the only one that can't login to Vista. All other logins do not have a password and only have guest priveleges.

When I put in my password I get a login Failure even though I know 100% that the password I entered is correct. Is there any way to fix this without reformatting and re-installing windows?

How to use System Restore to log on to Windows Vista when you lose access to an account

Have you tried another Keyboard? If you take any Accessibility options on the Login Screen (Ease of Access) you can try the On Screen Keyboard. Does your Keyboard have batteries and Wireless connection.

Can you log in to Safe Mode?

Have you tried the Startup repair options probable accessible from the Safe Mode Options Screen.

Keyboard is a USB Keyboard and works fine for all of the other users.

Never occurred to me to startup in safe mode. I suspect it's a corrupted system file that has to do with the Passwords. The only login that requires a password is the only login that doesn't work. I'll check those links you suggested as well. Thanks.

Just to make sure you realize the contradictions in your statements there... it sounds like you MAY need to consider the keyboard as one possible issue, still.

You said that the keyboard works fine for the other users, but your account is the only one that requires a password. To test, I'd put a password on one of the other accounts, and see if you get the same issue.

I do think it's a long shot to be the keyboard, but it'd be good to narrow down the possibilities, I suppose.
