I have two pc's running Vista Home Premium, sharing a printer that's attached to Computer A. However, everytime I reboot Computer A, Computer B can no longer print. The printer still appears in the printer list, and the job spools, but it just hangs. The only way I can get printing to work again, is to delete the printer from Computer B and set it up again. Also note that when I connect to Computer A to find the printer, it asks me to put in a login and password; which I do and check the box for 'remember password'. The systems are in the same workgroup and both have printer sharing enabled.

Printing works fine on Computer B until Computer A is restarted.

I'm done some google searches and looked through other posts here, and can't seem to find an answer to this problem...

In the Network Sharing Center, check your settings for Printer Sharing and Password Protected Sharing.

See the paragraph "Accessing a Shared Folder or Printer with Windows Vista"

Another thing you can do is to make sure you have the latest drivers for your Printer.
