Visio orgchart connectors no longer snap to objects

....I have a pre-existing org chart created in visio.. when I try to add connectors and modify existing ones they do not snap to the objects.

If I create a new org chart it works fine.

...I can see connectors that were snapped to the object (ends are red) I can move them off the object and then cannot snap them back onto the object....

I know it should change to red when it finds the object.. but it never does.. I just have the crosshair

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Under Tools>Snap and Glue, make sure the 'Glue' option is ticked on. See if this makes a difference...

I did find the solution.. I had to toggle the glue (f9)
