Virus Scan Enterprise 8.0i 1

Hi,All.

I would like to know if anyone is having problem with VS Enterprise 8.0i.

We have a HP Win2k server here. Even since the installation, every day or so, our server froze. The event log shows a lot of 2019 error, basically saying the nonpaged pool is empty.
The only workaround now is to reboot the server daily.

Anyone having this problem?

I've been testing it since it came out and it's done fine. I've been using it on XP and NT but just today added it to 2K computers. I'll update this if it causes any 2K problems.

I've had it on 2k servers without a problem. Check your servers pagefile settings and make sure they are set properly.

I put it on a 2k server about 24 hours ago after reading this original post. It's still working fine OK and it's always been flaky.

I have installed it on several NT machines and now we are getting these faults also. We checked almighty Internet. NAI send us to the Microsoft site and there was a fix. We have installed it, but this is not the answer.

Does anybody know what to do?

We haven't find a solution either. We downgraded back to version 7.1 for now.

I will continue to search and will post if I find anything.

The only problem I've had with 8.0i is that on the exchange servers, something activated the firewall and blocked outgoing e-mail. I couldn't do anything that would let it pass so I to uninstall and reinstall 7.1. I've got a ticket open with Mcafee but they haven't answered yet.

Just unblocking port 25 doesn't let the mail through?

I had the same problem with VS blocking outgoing mail sent by our survey software. Disabling this feature under ACCESS PROTECTION solve the problem.

Hi everybody,

Help! Could somebody help me how to make our webshield work..i.e generating reports etc..

We are currently using McAfee EPO Server 3.02a.. When we go through webshield we cannot produce reports. i.e the message says NO DATA TO REPORT !
