Virtual extensions

Probably a dumb question but I'm new to ipo.

I have ipo version 7. I want to create users without physcial extensions because the users are just being used to route DIDs to a faxfinder server. It works. IE I have a DID pointed to user 600 who is unconditionally forwarded to a hunt group which contains my four faxfinder ports.

Everything works except I have an "error" for each user in the error pane saying I don't have a physical extension associated with these users.

How do you make the errors go away? Did I build it wrong or do we just have to live with all these errors? Thanks..

I think I just answered my own question. By making the user a "hotdesk" user the error went away. Sweeeet....

You could have built a h.323 extension with the same extension number

Or just set the faxfinder huntgroup as destination in the incoming call route???????
