I have customer using a IP Office 6.08 with embedded voicemail. They need to add two virtual extension. I made two new users Extn209 and Extn210 and put in extension 209 and 210 respectively. Both have unconditional fwd to voicemail. What they want is calls come into the auto attendant, customer dials 209 and goes directly the mailbox or a real extension in the office can transfer calls to this virtual extension. But the Manager application gives me a warning that ext 209 (and 210) does not exist.

I'm doing this offline, not connected to the IPO.

So my question is, will this function as a virtual extension in the manner I described? Can I disregard the warning?

Yes the way you have programmed will work as a virtual ext.
If you add a log on code in the user telephony settings then the error should clear.
