or red book? Is there any documentation or experiences with virtual addresses working?

They are supposed to be able to land you on the same LAN segment - 192.168.1.114 should be able to gain access to 192.168.1.0, when things go right.

But they don't. When targeting a Linksys BEFVP41 controlled LAN, I get on if I tell it I am coming in with "Any" address, and supply 192.168.1.114 via Sentinel/SoftRemote.

But after that, I can't go further on the LAN. I think it's a Linksys preference that all inbounds be on a different segment. But I don't think that should have to be.

Do I need a different router that can handle the ...114 address? Alwasy going to a different segment causes you to have addresses "all over the place."
