Viking call box hook-up

Could not find any information doing a search on Viking c1000a hook-up.


I have ringer tone from the call box through the Viking c1000a out to the switch. I can ring my butt set. However when I plug into the swith I cannot ring Any of the phones. I have the connetion from the Viking pluged into the trunk port in the rear.

What do I need to set up in programming, please?

1. Put that line into unique group within Lines
2. Configure an Incoming call route to appropriate destination.

Thanks Mike, I have done as mentioned and still no ring???

If you watch call status/System Status, do you see the call? Can you plug regular CO line into same line port on IPO and make sure ICR is good? It MAY be that Viking is not sending enough ring to trip IPO...

Did you set the line to loop start and not CLID Loop? Could be a timing thing. I don't remember but I think the Viking times out if no answer.

I am actually about to deploy an IP500 with a C1000A. Were you able to get it working?

Does anyone know for sure if the C1000A works with IPO, or if i need to get a C1000B to replace it?
