I can view/map drives to other microsoft servers shared folders from a Windows 2000 client without having a logon account. Why can't I see the same thing from Windows 98. Do I have to have an account with 98? I have the file/print sharing client and the client for microsoft network install.

... it depends, I think! We had a mix of Win2K servers and Win98 clients and they're not best friends.

I think that you have to have an account on the 2k server to see the shares.

Good Luck §;O)
