The monitor flashs like an old tv when a car drives by when he plays some of the games on his computer. I have tried to update the drivers for the video card. I think the card should just be replaced - but I'm not sure? It's just a standard Trident9440.
Any low cost suggestions?

I would say that the card can't handle the graphics your throwing at it. How much memory is on the card?
