Is it possible to use a tv tuner card for capture and another card strictly for video playback in tandem?

If you use them on different machines, I'd say yes. Every attempt that I've made to get a capture card to working while there is another video card in the machine has resulted in failure. I've read that in order for capture to work properly (This was on my ATI All-in-wonder-pro) it had to be the only card in the machine.
If you do get it to work, please post what hardware you used and how you did it.

Oh great. Well...I will try to find the best solution for this problem and let you know. I'm currently trying to put together a Multimedia Machine...
I really want to get something to pair up with a PNY VCG6600GXPB Geforce 6600GT 128MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card. I like the PNY for it's outputs and it recieved some interesting reviews regarding video playback on Newegg.com.
I may have to settle on something completely different however...if I can find a card that will do everything that I want it to...with pinache.
