Ok so the problem I had before was that n-force2 was completly superior to the KT600. But a very reliable source told me that the KT600 had a higher memory transfer rate or something. If that were true why would the n-force2 seemingly be a better chipset from what everybody is telling me. Whats the real story?

The Nforce2 is a good chipset and it was on the scene first. Many of the Nforce2 motherboards also have the Soundstorm integrated sound like the A7N8X Deluxe.

There are versions of the Nforce2 chipset that are cheaper without the DUAL DDR support as well.

If you do not like my post feel free to point out your opinion or my errors.

I always liked Via, they do seem to offer a more stable platform than Nvidia for socket A, but as usual all that everyone seems interested in is speed. There is no denying that the Nforce2 400 chipset takes the performance honous, but as I said Via KT600 endowed motherboards are a very credible and stable alternative and generally can be found $$$$$$$'s cheaper.
