The system is a CS1K M SG on Rls 6 with the latest patches applied.I have been seeing this error very intermittently, but it does disconnect all users using the card at the time. It has happened on 3 VGMC on two different loops. The 3 VGMC are connected to 2 different data switches. If I disable about 8 to 10 channels on the VGMC's the trouble does not occur.
My question is: Since the XMI error(card polling failure)occurs first, is it causing the ELAN to disable?
XMI001 4 0 10 EXUT
ELAN009 ELAN 0 host IP=172.16.210.17 disabled, write to socket
fail due to far end disconnect or Ethernet problems
SRPT091 HB: Remote side IPL health change from 18 to 16.
SRPT091 HB: Local side IPL health change from 18 to 16.
XMI002 4 0 10 EXUT
SRPT091 HB: Local side IPL health change from 16 to 18.
ELAN014 ELAN 0 host IP=172.16.210.17 is enabled
SRPT091 HB: Remote side IPL health change from 16 to 18.
Thanks,
