What do I do if I have a machine that is certified compatible with Win2000 but still doesn't work?
In this particular case I have a Fujitsu Siemens Liteline LFL which is listed on microsoft.com as being compatible, with the caveat that all the latest drivers are installed. I therefore found the LFL Win2000 display driver on the fujitsu-siemens support site and installed it. Now the laptop boots to the desktop in lovely 32-bit colour, but the shell doesn't load. All is fine when using the standard VGA driver, aside from the fact that there are only 256 colours with a 640x480 resolution.
So having followed the OEM instructions (i.e. MS and FS) what steps do I take now?
