vfp 7 Printing Problem - SAY Fonts Ignored

I brought a 2.6 app to 7.0 and print with SAY and FONT.

On 1 PC with an HP 922 deskjet the Font I specified is ignored. On another PC it prints as designed. I am using the TIMES font which is installed on both PCs.

It seems to be environmental, not a programming problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Since you are upgrading an application from 2.6 to 7, you may also want to "upgrade" your technique of report designing and use the report writer to create you report and specify you fonts in the report designer. Mike Gagnon

Hi Dhzamist,

You say your are using the Times font. Do you mean Times New Roman? If so, I can't see why you should have this problem. But if you are using some other font, it could be that the font in question is not installed on the machine that fails. Or that it is a printer-resident font, and you do not have the right printer driver on that machine.

It might be worth experimenting with other fonts, or, as Mike says, switch to the report designer in VFP.
