version tracker error

trying to get the drivers im missing with version tracker
but when i try sign in i get the following error
"cannot initionalize mxsml sax

What version of Internet Explorer are you using?

You need the latest version available for Windows 98 in order to use v3.0 SP3 of the MSXML parser.

You can download Internet Explorer 6 SP1 from here:

yea that solved that issue but unfortunately version tracker will only update the already installed drivers?
as i need the audio driver i though bought trying driver agent (which im registered with) but get the following error?
Access Violation at address 03D6D9E6 in module Driveragent.ocx read of address FFFFFFFF

Sorry but I have no experience with DriverAgent.

From your other post, did either SIW or Belarc identify the mainboard (or motherboard as it's called in SIW)?

If so then it may be possible to track down the driver for the onboard sound using the mainboard manufacturer and model no/serial no.

all theyreally told me was that its americantrends bios and the version .
im going to look in my computer spares see if i can find a sound card i think

what i have noticed (dont know if this is any use) but it mobo has a via chip (installed via 4 in1 but that only set up raid and ide) and also the mobo uses sis 900 for ethernet

Try downloading Aida32 from

http://www.download.com/AIDA32/3000-2094_4-10129233.html.

It's a System Information checker like SIW but may help identify the mainboard. You don't need to install it; just un-zip the download then run Aida32.exe.

the prog you suggested found that tyhe mobo is pc chips and has a sis 7018 audio chipset
got the driver and now have sound
