I wish senior management in my company would allow us to move forward with the new software. I have had the same question. What does 1.4 actually fix? Does it cause any other problems? Does it really fix the problems the documentation says it does?
Having worked as tier 3 to Avaya Tier 4, it would seem that as the years progess they seem to supply the "feature fix's" less anfd less...At one point when the IPO we would get bug fix list onn a montly basis, however sine 1.3 and certaintly with 1.4 we have not had any.....
When I asked Avaya why they stated due to legal resons? so its anyones guess
