Veritas NetBackup 5.1 - Tape Library Automation

Anyone out there have scripts that would automate the ejecting of backup media for HP tape library ?

The NetBackup Master server is a W2K3 server with NetBackup SSO and Library Base Tape Drive Support. The HP tape library and Master server are SAN attached.

Try using the VMCHANGE command. Just input the tape numbers from a flat txt file.

example:

FOR /F %%i IN (Text file where you are getting your tape numbers from) DO D:\\veritas\volmgr\bin\vmchange -res -multi_eject -w -verbose -rn 1 -rt tld -rh "name of master server" -vh "name of Master Server" -ml %%i
