Veritas Backup Exec will not connect to server when schelduling a new 1

Our server was shut down for a week because of Hurricane Frances. When I brought the server back up, my schelduled backup jobs in Backup Exec were no longer there. When I go to scheldule new backup jobs, Backup Exec says connection with server failed. Press f5 to try again. How do I get a connection with my server so I can select what files to backup?

Check the Backup Exec service? Are they all ruhnning?

Is the database running? Is something written in the Event-Viewer?

I have checked the backup exec service and they are all running.

SOrry, I checked backup exec services again and discoverd that the Backup exec jog engine was not started. Once I started that service, I am able to connect to my server and see what files I need to backup. Thanks for all the help!
