Is it possible to backup a multihomed DC from Domain B to the backup server in domain A without setting up a trust? I have a static entry for the Domain B DC in the DNS of Damain A, so I can see the domain listed when I try to push the agent. When I try to expand the domain, there are no servers found. Any thoughts other than a oneway trust? Thanks.

You need to install the agent manually

Then create a logon account under Network - logon account to attch to the server when making the selection.

If you cant resolve by name you need to add the server by user defined selection

How to do a manual / silent install of the Backup Exec 9.x and 10.0 Remote Agent for Windows Servers (RAWS) if the push install does not succeed

Thanks Steveot,

The manual remote agent install worked well, but I am not clear on the creation of the account to use. Without a oneway trust I am not able to supply the account I use for backups. If there is another way, please explain. Thanks.
