Vector In Hunt Group Help 1

Good Morning,
I need help with a hunt group, group 10 that I want to go to a voice mail box after hours. I have a vm box 311 that says blah blah please leave a message. I created vector 2:
goto step 3 if time-of-day is all 18:00 to all 07:00
queue-to split 10 pri 1
messaging split 98 (voicemail hunt) for extension 311. Then I put a y at vector on my hunt group 10. I tried calling it last night after 6:00 and I just got my please wait transferring to an operator message... Am I supposed to put my hunt group ext. number somewhere or what am I missing?

Is there a VDN pointing to this vector? Or do you have just a hunt group and vector?
 
Oh, a VDN! Obviously I know what I'm doing not. O.k. I just added a vdn 318, hope I didn't need to create the station 318 first. Then I told 318 to go to vector 2 (the one I showed above) hope this is right now....can you help with weekends, maybe I can tell it instead of all. Fri. 6:00p.m. until Mon. 7:00a.m. Do I just add a line in my vector??

I think this is what you are looking for:

VDN 318 points to vector 2

1. wait-time 2 seconds hearing ringback
2. goto step 5 if time-of-day is all 18:00 to all 07:00
3. goto step 5 if time-of-day is fri 18:00 to mon 07:00
4. queue to split 10 pri 1
5. messaging split 98 for extension 311
6. stop

Hi,
My vector is still not working,
I created vdn 318 to go to vector 2.
Vector 2 is set up exactly as above.
When I call the 800 number to the hunt group after 6:00pm it announces transfering to an operator and rings. My hunt group is number 10 ext. is 555. The voice mail is ext. 311 that I want the calls to go to after 6:00 and my voice mail hunt is 98. Please help and thanks!

Will the Friday statement ever get hit in the sample vector above? It appears to me that the ALL statment will always catch it??

 
Tina, I am not too good with vectors so I use what I am good at. Why not program a hunt group night service button to a voicemail box for that group. I have this on several groups here and I have no problems with them. You can program the hunt group night service button on several phones in the group. It also gives them the ability to record one message for holidays, one for after hours, and another for weekends. Just a thought..

I thought of that but I thought they may forget to set the button so I went the vector route....although the button is looking better every minute! LOL

Yes, the Friday statement will get hit starting Saturday morning at 7am to 6pm and again on Sunday at 7am. Without the Fri statement, the calls will queue during the 7am to 6pm hours on the weekend. (Basically, you need the Fri statement to take care of the weekend.)
