I'm trying to get a VDN to route to a 2500 station and when that station picks up have the VDN sent as DTMF. Someone told me I could use a vector with the converse command. I can get it to route to the 2500 but not send the digits of the VDN. Any help would be appreciated.

Put the analag station in a hunt group with vector control.

In the vector, use the command Converse-on split <hunt group number> passing vdn and none, or vdn and ani number if you want the call line id.

The VDN call will queue to the huntgroup analog extension and when answered will pass the digits of the VDN to the analog station.

Also use a wait-time statement under the converse on statement in the vector to give it time to setup the call and pass the digits.

2 to 5 seconds should do it.

That worked!!! Thanks!!! It is putting a # at the end, is there anyway to suppress that?

Thanks again

I think you can do this in teh system features but I'm not sure. Look for the call center features screen. Plan your work............Work your plan

No it is a separator. You can probable change it to a star in the system features, but it cannot be removed.

Your application may be able to work with it though.

Whenever I try this I add only Vector control on the Hunt Group and I get "ACD, VECTOR and SKILL must all be the same" therefore I cannot add a 2500 extension into the hunt group and pass ANI/DNIS via the converse-on command!

any ideas?

When in an EAS environment, once you turn on Vector control, you must make the hunt group ACD and Skilled. Is there a reason that you don't want to do this?

Basically, when you want to use the converse command, the analog ports that you want to converse on have to act as agents. They will count towards your agent licenses.

Cheers for your reply, I've managed to figure it out.

I've created an analogue station that's connected to my fax server, this analoge station has an AAS agent assigned to it, i'm then using the converse-on the skill assigned to the AAS agent to pass VDN so I can ascertain DNIS and thus route properly.

Cheers.
