VDN extension- no subscriber administered for this extension - autoattend Definity

I was handed to administer my pbx in office not officially though and i'm just IT support
We have 8800 and definity voicemail

Need help in follow request
- setup auto attend with following
- call directs to greeting msg
- press 1 to dial by extension (use 5 digit ext)
- Press 2 to dial by name (not to impt)
- press 3 to talk to live person
no voice, keep repeating


i'm skipping dial by name for now so as solution i setup...
- I setup vdn 12345 that points to vector 35
- vector plays its role to collect digits and select extension

- I setup voicemail as autoattend to play msg and with menu options
- press 1 to transfer to vdn
- press 2 to speak to live person
etc etc.


error: when i add vdn extension to voicemail - i get 'no subscriber administered for this extension'

any idea how can i do that??

build mailbox against vdn then after vector programming delete it

hmm...

so delete the vector programming and then build mailbox and redo vector and then update voicemail menu and delete mailbox??

sorry i'm little lost but appreciate your help

why are you adding a vdn extension as a mailbox in the 1st place, confused on what you are trying to do here

setting up voicemailbox as auto-attend to play msg menu and vdn # is link to vector with instructions
